Summer without Shakes is not happening!

With the temperature soaring high it’s important that you should keep yourself hydrated in every possible way. Thirst will be a continuous problem and while you quench your thirst with just water, think again you can do it in a more slurpy way. And the best way to detox is to have tasty yummy juices, shakes and smoothies. Delhi a place where all your food dreams will come true. There are several best places in and around Delhi where you can sit, relax and sip your choice of shake. Here are few places from my personal list, you may try any of them!

I wish to first start with Keventers, an array of flavourful shakes are available in a cool glass bottle. Take away or sit there and have it totally your choice. The good thing is that there are a lot of Keventers shop in and around Delhi, you can go anywhere there won’t be any difference in taste. Easy on your pocket and awesome in taste is what you will get here. I have been to a few, Select City Walk is near to my place.

Let’s navigate to another famous place is Big Chill Café in Khan Market. Craving for desserts, come here and satiate your sweet tooth. Ice creams, cakes and shakes what a combo! Spoil yourself with varied flavours of Shakes here, Belgian Chocolate, Mocha, Oreo Shake, Banana and Strawberry and Tiramisu are just heavenly. The flavour and quality are the USP of this place and when you sip you will realise it is worth every cent.

Walk a little further and if you are thirsty for some soul-quenching smoothies, Smoke House Deli is your place. Rejuvenate yourself with fresh fruit smoothies like watermelon, basil, melon, carrot, pineapple. They have a special menu for kids which includes, Kitkat, Vanilla, Strawberry and Chocolate. There are more like Stress Buster, Concentration and Soul Smoothies are made with fresh fruits and yoghurt and that is what you need in this weather.

Let’s visit a happy place and have some thick shakes. Yes, Johnny Rockets is the place I am talking about. Situated in Select City Walk where you can enjoy your favourite Shakes with Ice cream. Have Chocolate or Strawberry-Banana Shake and don’t feel awkward if you see the kid sitting next to you is having the same.

If you are in Connaught place do visit Wenger’s Deli. A small eatery with an open kitchen where you can slurp and relax. Try Blueberry, Strawberry, Oats and my favourite Chocolate Silken from here. The smoothies will be prepared right in front of you with fresh fruits and low-fat yoghurt. There are a lot of other flavours which you can try and each shake is awesome in taste and friendly in the pocket.

Move to the outer circle and come here for awesome fresh juices, shakes and wide variety of lassis. Yes, the place is Jux Pux. And if you want a change in taste then please have their special Nimbu Paani comes in three flavours – Masala, Chataka Masala and Beetroot. It is very refreshing and amazing to taste. Even you can try their Lassis which are thick and made of low-fat yoghurt.

If you are in Janpath then you must go to Smoothie Factory. Thy name speaks and hence you can imagine how serious these people are about smoothies. There are three sections like Regular, Specialty (fruit based) and Premium (with super food) of course for different genres like fun foodies, health conscious and body builders. Apart from these, there is also the availability of customised shakes where you can mention your mention your calories, classic shakes, shakes with nutritious boost and fresh juices. This is like a Juices and Shakes a-la – carte, specify your choice and enjoy.
